Wendy Markey

"Life is what you make it, and I want to make it big!!" - Wendy Markey
Wendy was born and raised in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, NS, and was influenced as a kid by artists like James Taylor, The Eagles, and Simon and Garfunkle.
Wendy always had a love for music, but was a very shy kid who wanted to sing.
At the age of 34, Wendy performed her first solo in a church play, and spent some time singing with a worship team, before finding her way to the studio to record her first CD in 2003, "Here With Me" and she has never looked back.
Wendy brings a likable presence to the stage and when she opens her mouth to sing, she commands the attention of the entire room; her voice is truly her instrument.
